Kumkum Bhagya 4th August 2023 Written Episode Update on Mythgyaan.com
The Episode starts with Prachi showing her mangalsutra to Shahana and telling her that Ranbir still remembers this mangalsutra even now.
Prachi tells Shahana that Akshay was asking her about Ranbir. She says Akshay is doubtful on Ranbir. Prachi says Ranbir always troubles her, and she doesn’t know why Ranbir is taking revenge from her.
Prachi says she had regarded Ranbir’s mother Pallavi as her own mother, but Pallavi never accepted or loved her, and always hated her. On the other side is Akshay’s mother who accepted her, loves her and respects her a lot.
Prachi says she lost her daughter because of Ranbir and got her daughter back due to Akshay. Prachi says she doesn’t know why Ranbir is doing this, when he is with Mihika and Pallavi aunty has accepted Mihika.
Pallavi is waiting for Ranbir and asks Dida why she didn’t make her talk to Ranbir, when Ranbir had asked them to stay safe. Dida says Ranbir had ended the call himself, and tells Pallavi that she knows her son well, so she shouldn’t fight with Dida over Ranbir.
Pallavi shows her condition and asks Dida to see it. Dida says Ranbir had asked her to go home and he told Dida that he is going to Bangalore with the evening flight and will not call or meet them.
Akshay angrily asks Mihika if she is mad and blind, if she understands emotions or feelings. Mihika repeats the same thing again so that Akshay understands for whom he is saying this.
Mihika clarifies that she is not blind or mad, and has chosen Ranbir after many break ups. Mihika praises Ranbir’s kindness, saying he helps people on the road. She says he is kindhearted with clean intentions. Mihika says Ranbir knows Prachi and that’s why he went to save her.
Akshay says Ranbir risked his life to save Prachi. Mihika reveals that when she was coming to Akshay’s marriage, Ranbir had saved her from goons.
Mihika tells Akshay that Ranbir saved her life twice, otherwise she wouldn’t have been alive today. She says Akshay should be thankful as even Prachi is alive because of Ranbir.
Akshay asks Mihika when did Ranbir save her life the second time. Mihika refuses to discuss about it and asks Akshay to leave.
Prachi tells Shahana that she doesn’t think there is something going on between Ranbir and Mihika. Prachi says her life was going well, when Ranbir came and disturbed it again.
Shahana tells Prachi that as far as she knows, Prachi doesn’t love Akshay. Prachi says love is foolishness, and wise people should not fall in love. Prachi feels life becomes bad and ugly because of love, as it brings pain.
Shahana says love’s other name is sacrifice. Prachi says she can’t tell Shahana what dirty games Ranbir has played. Prachi adds that whenever she thinks of moving away from Ranbir, he comes in front of her with Mihika. Shahana asks Prachi if she feels jealous.
Prachi admits it through signs and cries. Prachi says it is wrong and she should not feel this, as Ranbir is with Mihika now. Shahana says Ranbir is still Prachi’s, and that’s why she is feeling the pain and jealousy.
Prachi insists her jealousy is wrong. Shahana explains that such feelings happen when someone holds importance and a special place in the other person’s life, which Ranbir had given to Prachi.
Divya asks Ranbir to come see the surprise for him. Ranbir asks Divya what is the surprise. Akshay reveals that Ranbir’s surprise is that his mother Pallavi is here.
Seeing his mother, Ranbir looks shocked. Pallavi gets up from the sofa, further shocking Ranbir. Pallavi hugs Ranbir. Akshay thinks that Ranbir is not happy to meet his mother, in fact he looks worried. Akshay feels there is something going on for sure.
Ranbir forces a smile and asks Pallavi how she came here. Pallavi asks Ranbir how he is doing. Ranbir just says he is fine. Akshay asks Ranbir if he felt good meeting his mother.
Ranbir says he wants to talk to his mother Pallavi alone and takes her away from there. Manpreet wonders what Ranbir wants to talk privately with his mother about. Ashok says they should see what happens. Manpreet agrees to let Ranbir and Pallavi talk.
Abhay asks Akshay what he is planning that is so big. Akshay says it is something very big.
Pallavi asks Ranbir if he is really doing fine. Ranbir confirms he is fit and fine. Pallavi says they had searched for Ranbir and then came to know he was going to Bangalore. After that they found out he is staying here.
Pallavi tells Ranbir she was upset knowing he lied to Dida. And after coming here, she found out he has been staying in this place since many days already. Pallavi adds that since Vikram and Dida were not at home, she came here alone, otherwise she would have come with them too.
Ranbir tries to tell Pallavi that nobody knows about his past here. He is about to confess that they don’t know about Prachi, when Manpreet interrupts. She takes Pallavi away to meet Mihika’s Bua who wants to meet her.
Ranbir looks tense as he couldn’t tell the truth to his mother Pallavi. Manpreet wonders aloud what Ranbir wants to talk to Pallavi about privately. Ashok says they should see what happens between mother and son. Manpreet agrees to let Ranbir and Pallavi talk alone.
Shahana asks Prachi to drink haldi milk, but Prachi refuses. Shahana keeps insisting Prachi drink the milk fast, but Prachi continues refusing and asks Shahana to drink it instead.
Finally, Shahana makes Prachi drink the haldi milk. Shahana says she has learnt from Prachi how to take care of others like this. Prachi admits she did wrong earlier. Shahana hugs her, saying she is meeting Prachi after a long time.
Prachi points out they live in the same city. Shahana clarifies that if Dadi was here, she wouldn’t have let them talk freely like this. Shahana jokes Dadi is becoming like an older girl.
Prachi also jokes that Shahana is talking like Dadi now. Shahana apologizes, saying just hearing Ranbir’s name sours Prachi’s mood. Prachi agrees to try not letting that happen. Shahana insists Prachi has to break her connection with Ranbir.
Mihika asks Ranbir what is happening here. Ranbir says he doesn’t know why his mother Pallavi came here suddenly. He tells Mihika that before he could confess their truth to Pallavi, her mother took Pallavi away.
Ranbir says he doesn’t want his mother to say anything wrong about Prachi, since everyone here loves Prachi. He doesn’t want them to see Prachi from his mother’s negative perspective.
Prachi asks Shahana if she is saying all this because Ranbir asked her to, accusing Shahana of always taking Ranbir’s side even when he did wrong.
Shahana challenges Prachi to break connection with Ranbir and prove her wrong, so that Prachi and Ranbir will be free from each other’s thoughts.
Prachi says everything will be over once Ranbir marries Mihika. She has a lot of work at home so wants to leave. Shahana asks what will she do there without Dadi. Shahana decides to stay at Prachi’s home instead for few days.
Ranbir tells Akshay that his mother Pallavi shouldn’t have come here. He admits he should have been more careful. Akshay comes just then and agrees that Ranbir should have been careful.
In the precap, Akshay questions Ranbir why he can’t marry Mihika. Ranbir reveals to Vishaka that she was right in her doubt earlier, there is nothing between him and Mihika.
