Vanraj tells Anupama that a man is criticized if he loses his wife or job. But if his wife has an affair and child with another man, that husband becomes a joke.
He says the air turns poisonous for such a man, who has to hide his and his wife’s infidelity. So Anupama shouldn’t reveal this secret to anyone.
Anupama nods and says Vanraj should remember Kavya’s love too before deciding anything. After Vanraj leaves, Anupama feels weak and controls herself.
Seeing Anuj approach, Anupama looks worried. Anuj asks if Vanraj had come and if everything is fine at the Shah house. Anupama just says everyone is fine, and Mr. Shah wanted to talk to her but she can’t discuss it.
Anuj understands some parental house matters can’t be shared. He assures Anupama to count on him if the Shahs need any help. Anupama wonders why he is so good. Anuj credits her companionship for his goodness.
Anuj romantically lifts Anupama saying it’s time to serve and romance his wife. He uses the hashtag #SEMANCE.
At home, Kavya waits for Vanraj and tries to talk. Vanraj ignores her and warns her not to touch him, as there is nothing left to discuss. Even if she wants to talk, she should be quick.
Kavya apologizes, but Vanraj asks if he should celebrate her apology like her affair. He says he truly loved her but she betrayed him. Kavya insists Vanraj hear her out calmly.
Vanraj says the truth won’t change – she hid her pregnancy from another man, and would have continued hiding it if he hadn’t overheard. He is bearing the punishment of his own betrayals.
Kavya professes her love for Vanraj. He asks what she did with Anirudh then. Kavya says she got greedy with the love Anirudh showered on her and their baby.
Vanraj yells at her not to call it his baby. Kavya reveals she confessed to Anupama already. Vanraj says even though Anupama is kind-hearted, she divorced him for his cheating. Now he will never accept Kavya or her baby.
Anupama recalls Vanraj’s words. Pakhi comes, hugging Anupama, saying everything is fine but she feels afraid after the recent events. Anupama sings Pakhi a lullaby until she sleeps.
Seeing this, Anuj walks away quietly. Anupama imagines rushing to the Shahs after Malati Devi’s challenge, calling for her kids. Toshu and Samar tell her about Sweety’s disappearance.
Anuj informs Anupama of Pakhi’s death. Anupama wakes up shouting for Sweety. Anuj comforts her it was just a nightmare to forget.
In the morning, Anupama performs Tulsi pooja with Pakhi. She asks if Pakhi is okay and says she worries for her children as a mother.
Kavya starts to leave with her bags, but Vanraj stops her. He doesn’t want to ruin his family’s happiness over her pregnancy. Kavya thanks him and says she will tell the truth soon.
Vanraj insists she need not reveal anything now, and should not expect anything from him. He walks away tearfully. Leela notices and asks if Kavya and the baby are fine.
Vanraj nods, saying he had a nightmare so fears their happiness disappearing. Leela reassures him and performs a ritual to ward off evil from Kavya’s pregnancy.
Chikooji tells Anupama that Barkha and Romil scolded and shooed her away when she went to wish them good morning. Anupama explains she shouldn’t enter others’ rooms that early except her parents’.
In the precap, Malati Devi tries befriending Chikooji. Anupama apologizes for Chikooji’s behavior and warns Malati Devi not to provoke a mother.
