The episode starts with Akshara telling Abhimanyu that she understands his pain, as she felt the same pain recently. She apologizes for wishing him to stay away from Abhir.
Abhimanyu says he always wanted a happy family. He loved Akshara a lot and wanted to be the best husband and father, but ended up hurting hearts. Akshara says many people love him still.
Abhimanyu says he never got what he wanted. His son loves him but wants to stay in Kasauli with his parents. Akshara says kids can’t stay without their mum at this age, and Abhir always lived in Kasauli.
Abhimanyu says he is fine and her wish is fulfilled so she can leave with Abhir. Akshara refuses and says he has to fight this pain, as he has courage. Abhimanyu insists he doesn’t have the courage anymore. He says Abhir is rightfully her son and she has the rights.
Abhimanyu apologizes and says he can’t see or talk to Abhir daily. He asks her to go as Abhir is waiting happily like she and Abhinav have a perfect family. Abhimanyu leaves as Akshara prays for him.
Abhir wants to sleep between Akshara and Abhinav. They tease him about wanting his own room earlier. Abhir makes them promise to never send him away or leave him. They promise and hug him.
Abhimanyu recalls Abhir. Ruhi hugs him, saying it’s a tough day but they have to be strong. She promises they will call Abhir in the morning. Abhimanyu imagines talking to Abhir. Manjiri sees this and cries.
Akshara wakes up seeing Abhinav and Abhir sleeping. She recalls old moments. Abhir stops her going, asking her not to leave. They joke around and hug.
Abhimanyu packs Abhir’s things, like his quilt and books. He imagines Abhir is back home. Manjiri cries seeing this. Abhimanyu declares he will fulfill Abhir’s wish since he won’t return now.
Everyone pampers Abhir at the resort. Dadi says she will make halwa for him. Abhir misses Abhimanyu’s family’s healthy food, recalling him. Abhimanyu comes to see Abhir but leaves unseen. Akshara runs after him but he leaves hearing her voice.
Abhinav says Abhimanyu’s pain is more than they know. Akshara feels he sacrificed his happiness for Abhir’s wish, making him better than her. Abhinav assures Abhimanyu’s wound will heal over time. Akshara says old wounds hurt more when reopened, making it seem like time didn’t pass.
In the precap, Abhinav falls down. Abhimanyu looks shocked. Abhir asks where his dad went. Akshara scolds Abhimanyu that Manish saw him push Abhinav – what will he say if Abhir asks about his dad?
